In a sleeping town, in her half-dark room, she laid with her white silk dress as her eyes stared at the ceiling. Memories of the months that had passed lingered as unspoken words and silent cries wanted to be heard. Her whole being seemed to be waiting for someone that night. She stood away from her bed and walked out of her room. She opened the front door and started walking in a lighted up yet lonely road. Down to an old park, she sat on the bench under the light of the moon.
Staring at the night sky, she wondered what have gone wrong and what could have been done. A cold wind touched her hair slowly reaching her chest. Her body was almost motionless. There was emptiness. There was a deep longing for solitude and her tears began to fall.
Suddenly, there was a soft touch of hands on her shoulders.
Silence.
It was him, the one her whole being was waiting for. He held her hands and sat down on the bench under the light of the moon. Memories of the months that had passed lingered as unspoken words and silent cries wanted to be heard.
Staring at the night sky, they both figured out what have gone wrong and what could have been done. A cold wind touched their bodies and their inner souls. There was a deep longing for solitude and tears began to fall.
Silence.
In a sleeping town, away from her half-dark room, down to an old park, there’s another love story to tell under the light of February moon.
