Never did I realize that you were there all along.
The stares and the smiles meant nothing for me then.
I didn't have any idea that you wanted me to stop crying, forget about the love I lost and bring back the smile on my face.
Several months have passed when I finally said to myself that I have to move on and bring back the old me.
I started smiling again.
I started greeting everyone with glee.
Then I started noticing you.
Sheesh...
Then we started smiling at each other.
And you said "hi..."
Well... thanks.
Now I can say that I am genuinely smiling once more.
We're happy seeing each other,
we're free and
we're making each other smile.
