my tears fell
I got up out of my bed
and locked the door of my room
I held a pen and a paper
and tried to write
but then I thought about God
I put down what I held in my hand
because I really felt blue
I closed my eyes
and began to pray
“Don’t take away this sadness
No, don’t dry my tears
Oh Lord let me feel blue
for once I think about You
You let me feel You.”
